Sundial Association New Zealand
a network to foster an interest in sundials

Central to the evolution of civilization has been the measurement of time.
Even when the first mechanical watches were invented sundials were used to ensure their accuracy.

Whilst no longer essential as time telling instruments sundials continue to fascinate and provide pleasure and significance to a wide range of people.

We are fortunate to have a number of remarkable sundials and the purpose in establishing a sundial association is to foster an interest in the discovery, art and science of sundials in New Zealand.

To find out more about the association please complete our registration form by clicking here.

This website has been established  by Rosaleen Robertson whose sundials blog, sundials-rosaleen.blogspot.com, may be accessed by clicking here.
